Sleep Scotland is an Edinburgh based charity that promotes healthy sleep in children and young people through sleep awareness, sleep counselling and education through our sleep services function. We work throughout Scotland and in other parts of the UK providing intensive sleep programmes for children with additional support needs by training sleep councillors to work directly with families in need of support. We also run a telephone support help line.
Do you have a flair for running a large number events throughout the year? Is your focus on excellent customer service? Are you self-motivated and able to work independently?
We are currently looking to recruit a Training Programme Coordinator to support our busy training team. As a Training Programme Coordinator, you will take a lead on developing and implementing our busy training courses over the year, both online and face-to-face across the British Isles. You will also support promotion and marketing of training courses, both open to the public and commissions. You will support the Sleep Services Manager with reporting to funders, as well as taking on line management responsibilities for the Training Administrator.
You will be an experienced training or events coordinator, with outstanding skills in supporting groups both online and in person. You will possess a strong drive to sell training places via monthly promotion including emails and advertising, and working with our social media team to promote via our social media channels, in order to meet income targets. With our online training being delivered online via zoom, experience of using zoom or similar platforms is also essential.
The role also offers the opportunity to get involved with a range of courses, both for the general public and for commissioned groups across the health, education, social care, and voluntary sectors. This will mean you taking ownership and being accountable for delivery. Overall, you will be a strong communicator, enthusiastic, willing to learn and excel in a fast-paced, progressive organisation.
