Befriending Co-ordinator

Role

The Befriending Co-ordinator will be responsible for the day to day planning, co-ordination and delivery of a befriending service to support survivors who access GCA’s wellbeing services across Glasgow and are most at risk from addictions, homelessness, social isolation and poverty. The Befriending Co-ordinator will also recruit and train volunteer befrienders to provide support and encouragement for individuals who use GCA’s wellbeing services, however struggle to stay engaged.

GCA is a voluntary organisation working to reduce the harm caused by alcohol misuse through the provision of a range of high quality advice, information, counselling, support, prevention and education and training services.
