Do you want to make a difference to the lives of unpaid Carers in Renfrewshire? We are looking for caring, people-centred, dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our team at Renfrewshire Carers Centre.

Renfrewshire Carers Centre is a one-stop shop for unpaid Carers operating in Renfrewshire for over 20 years. We are a charity established by Carers for Carers and have developed a range of services to support Carers in their caring role and provide opportunities to have a life outside of caring. The Advocacy Project enables Carers in Renfrewshire to have a voice and represent their views.

Details of the role including main duties and responsibilities:

  • Enable Carers to gain access to relevant information and explore their options to make informed choices.
  • Represent Carers and act on their behalf, if required
  • Make Carers aware of their rights

Successful candidates will have qualification and or experience in the following areas:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the principles of Advocacy
