Mental Health UK supports people affected by mental health problems across the UK, bringing together experts from four national mental health charities to improve understanding and provide vital care – Our national mental health charity is Support in Mind Scotland.
We are looking to build a talented cohort of dedicated Training Associates to deliver quality programmes across Scotland. If you’re keen to help us reach our ambitious targets to support thousands more young people in schools and community settings, are passionate about young people’s mental health and have a wealth of training and facilitation experience, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Programme
At the end of 2019, we launched two Young People’s Programmes which aim to support young people’s (14-18 year olds) mental health resilience. The first, ‘Bloom’ is delivered in school and college settings and the second ‘Your Resilience’ works with young people in community settings. Both programmes equip young people with the tools and knowledge to maintain their mental health through life’s transitions.
A core part of the programme involves working with teachers, NHS staff and youth workers to build the foundational knowledge to do what they do best: securing the best outcomes for young people.
