Southside Housing Association Ltd is a charitable community controlled housing organisation. As well as our landlord functions, we manage Glasgow Care and Repair. The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is delivering the scheme in Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, Argyle & Bute, Perth & Kinross, Dundee, Stirling and Western Isles in partnership with Care & Repair Organisations. Glasgow Care & Repair is one of these offices responsible for Glasgow, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde. The officer for Glasgow Care & Repair will also be responsible for the scheme within Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.

Project Officer – Home Energy Efficiency Programme (Scotland) (HEEPS) Home Equity Loan Scheme

EVH PA 7 (£33,642 - £36,941). Temporary to 31.03.22, renewable for a further 12 months, subject to continuation of the scheme and funding.

The Home Equity Loan Scheme will offer a low cost equity product for people needing to undertake repairs and improvements to their homes which have an energy efficiency element to the work.

The successful candidate will work closely with the partner organisations to develop and promote the service. The Project Officer will verify works on behalf of the EST as well as offer advice and guidance to older and vulnerable people need assistance to navigate the process from scoping and pricing works, appointing and overseeing their contractors.

The post holder must have relevant experience and preferably have a recognised building related qualification.
