We are looking to recruit a Physical Activity Coordinator to join our team and support our physical activity programme as part of our wider holistic service.
The Health Agency is a community led organisation and a registered charity. Our aim is to address issues around inequality and improve the health and wellbeing of anyone living in South West Edinburgh.
Our physical activity programme is designed to support people improve their health and identify and achieve their health goals. The post holder must have a strong understanding of using a community development approach to support people affected by cancer, long-term conditions and health inequalities. They should also have highly effective interpersonal skills in working with people on a 1:1 and group basis, as well as with organisations.
The post holder will normally be based in our office in the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre although due to COVID-19 restrictions, may be based at home initially.
