The North Lanarkshire Youth Housing Support Service works with young people aged between 16 years and 26 who have been assessed by the Council as being vulnerable and at most risk from being or becoming homeless.
Positive Destinations works with care-experienced young people aged 15 to 20 years and is made up from 3 distinct projects: Creative Faces, Workforce Development and Forever Homes. That latter two of these projects are delivered in partnership with a range statutory and 3rd sector partners e.g. Housing, Social Work, NHS and local Housing Associations.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Children's Service Manager for our Youth Housing Support and Care Experienced Young persons' services in North Lanarkshire.
The successful candidate should have experience in managing and leading teams working with children, young people and families with complex needs. In addition, the successful candidate will have the capacity to work strategically and collaboratively to provide services within the complex health, housing, education or social care context.
Along with the requisite level 7 practitioner qualification for managers of Care Inspectorate registered services, the successful candidate should have extensive experience in, and knowledge of, the following:
