Designed and led by its users and driven by three core principles, People-led, Strengths-based and Connected, Peer Support Scotland by Terrence Higgins Trust has been redefining services for people living with HIV and/or another blood borne virus (BBV) since its inception in 2017. We are pleased to invite applications from reliable, creative and compassionate social care professionals to join the project's small staff team and take the lead on its rolling and varied programme of skills development activities.
Working alongside three other Living Well Specialists whose areas of responsibility are BBV Support, Volunteering, and Peer Support, and in close consultation with the project's service users, the successful candidate will have particular focus on the design, development and roll out of a newly funded Scotland Wide digital skills development offering.
Peer Support Scotland is supported by the National Lottery, the Gannochy Trust and the Scottish Government's Self Management Fund. Funding is currently in place until November 2023.
