Would you like to deliver meaningful interventions to promote and improve the health and well-being of those with substance misuse?

The Service

The Camden Specialist Drug Service offers specialist substance misuse support to those with complex needs. The service works in close partnership with the lead provider Camden & Islington Mental Health Trust (C&I) to offer a broad range of recovery orientated, high quality services to meet the needs of service users. The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial elements and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV, health interventions, and OST.

The role

The post holder will be a dynamic, caring, committed, and highly motivated individual who is committed to supporting the drug substance misuse community and their associated needs by:

· Promoting recovery in their daily practice in both group and one-to-one settings

· Completing comprehensive assessments, risk assessment, risk management and Recovery Care Plans with service users to ensure personalised and recovery-focused treatment journeys

· Managing a case load of clients

· Working in partnership with the clinical and aftercare services, primary care services, criminal justice agencies, outreach services, other treatment providers in Camden, service users and the local community

· Making every contact count through motivational interviewing, harm reduction, relapse prevention, brief advice and intervention

Conditions

Salary band of £24,627 - £29,000 per annum

Permanent contract

37.5 hours per week
