Interested in joining the fight to reduce the health harms and inequalities caused by tobacco?

ASH Scotland, the national independent charity, is recruiting to our Board. We are seeking people with skills and expertise in a broad range of areas - in particular finance/funding; clinical/public health and community development. As part of our succession planning we’d also love to hear from you if you have expertise in fundraising; human resources; public policy making; health and income inequalities; research; and work with children and youth.

The Board meets four times a year with three remote meetings (via zoom or teams). COVID restrictions permitting, the Annual Meeting will be held at our offices in central Edinburgh. In addition, there are opportunities to participate in short-life subject specific working groups. Board members are unpaid, but direct expenses can be claimed, and induction and support are provided. In addition to a Board Chair there are two Vice-Chairs so there are opportunities to develop and advance within the Board.
