Role

We have a new part time opportunity for an Operational Assistant to join our team. Based in our office in Govan, you will play a key role in our return to delivering face to face support post lockdown restrictions.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the office space remains an informal, welcoming space whilst ensuring a Covid safe environment for staff, volunteers and visitors. You will also have responsibility for providing some administrative support to the team.

Our ideal candidate will have an understanding and empathetic nature with an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals seeking asylum. An essential skill will be confidence in engaging with individuals who do not speak English as a first language. You will have evidenced skills and experience of working in an administrative role, with a high level of competence in the use of office applications such as word, excel, and google suite.
