The communications manager works across all areas of communications but has a key focus on developing Mary’s Meals’ media relationships throughout the UK and delivering high quality media coverage which is consistently aligned to Mary’s Meals’ strategy for growth in the UK.
The role works closely with another part-time communications manager and shares line management responsibility for a communications officer.
As a lead member of the communications team, the communications manager also contributes significantly to the overall development and delivery of the marketing and communications strategy.
Reporting to the head of communications, they are comfortable working at a senior level and providing support to colleagues across the team and in fundraising, especially in terms of brand management, tone, style and key messages.
