This is a new post to support the volunteer recruitment process within our Communities.

Cyrenians Communities provide accommodation for young people who have experienced a tough reality, potentially as a consequence of family breakdown, homelessness, drug or alcohol issues, or poor mental health. The purpose of the Communities is to provide a safe and stable community environment for young people to live, learn and develop together. Our unique approach to supported accommodation helps young people to develop their skills through training and ongoing support.

Volunteers live as community members across acting as peer mentors and are fundamental to the unique service we provide. The post holder will be the first point of contact for inquiries and applications about volunteering at our communities. You will ensure that all relevant processes are followed and recorded, and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a personable, approachable and helpful individual with strong organisational and communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to demonstrate Cyrenians values of Compassion, Respect, Integrity and Innovation in the work that you do.
