Edinburgh World Heritage is looking to appoint a Graveyards Engagement Officer to play in key role in engaging audiences in one of our five historic burial sites in the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh World Heritage Site.
Our Making Lasting Impressions: Greyfriars Kirkyard Community Learning and Interpretation Project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, will draw together local community groups, institutions and other organisations connected with Greyfriars to deepen public understanding of, and engagement with, the Kirkyard. The Graveyards Engagement Officer will help to deliver a programme of creative learning activities for the project.
Edinburgh World Heritage is an independent charity with the aim of ensuring the city’s World Heritage status is a dynamic force that benefits everyone. Our mission is to connect people to their heritage in everything we do – whether through the conservation of historic buildings, delivering improvements to the public realm, or engaging people directly with the rich heritage of their city through events and membership programmes.
