The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Team and help social enterprises thrive in West Lothian. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Membership Co-ordinator who can reach out to WLSEN members and help build a green recovery and support growth going forward.

About You

The Co-ordinator will facilitate peer support, shared knowledge and resources, and promote market development. We are looking for a Co-ordinator who is an excellent communicator, and an externally engaging person. The Co-ordinator will be experienced in building strong stakeholder relationships through communications and engagement including social media, digital applications, newsletters, events, online activities etc.

This is an ideal role for a self-starter who can develop impactful relationships with members, funders and stakeholders. We are excited about appointing a dynamic team member who can amplify our voice and collaborate with others to make a real difference, delivering positive outcomes for people and planet.

WLSEN has a good profile with local strategic partners and now boasts a membership of 66 social enterprises across West Lothian. It has been operating for over 7 years, is a registered Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee and is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Currently it is contracted to deliver support to social enterprises in the area by West Lothian Council and on behalf of Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian (VSGWL), it delivers the social enterprise support element of the local Third Sector Interface contract.
