Bookbug and Read, Write, Count are book gifting programmes funded by Scottish Government and delivered by Scottish Book Trust. Bookbug gives every child in Scotland four free bags of books as babies, toddlers, three and five year olds; Read, Write, Count continues with a further two book bags for all children in P2 and in P3 each year.
This role will manage a new piece of research exploring the impact of the Bookbug and Read, Write, Count book gifting programmes since Bookbug's inception 11 years ago.
The role will also work with the Early Years team to plan, design and implement robust evaluation across their wider activities.
This post sits in the Research and Evaluation team and is line managed by the Research and Evaluation Manager. They will collaborate closely with both the Early Years and School Communities teams.
