The role of the Deputy Head – Community Support Services will support the Head of Service Delivery to develop and deliver a range of service solutions that will meet the needs of people living with all of our conditions including Long COVID, clearly demonstrating the impact of these services for people, the systems in which we operate and potential funders/donors. The postholder will lead the Community Support Management Team which will oversee the delivery of operational element of the Services Plan with a specific focus on geographic delivery, volunteer development, aphasia development and service development in line with our No Life Half Lived Strategy.
Candidates must have a recognised professional qualification within heath and/or social care or demonstrable experience of management within health and / or social care.
Individuals should also be able to lead motivate, engage, inspire and develop staff whilst leading teams through change in a positive and constructive manner. You should have experience of service evaluation and audit and robust understanding of impact measurement. Networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders is also essential.
