Job Summary
Would you like to work as a recovery practitioner in a WDP service, and help service users to achieve sustained recovery?
The service
Islington Better lives is an established, integrated community service delivered across several sites in the Borough. The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial elements, and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV and health interventions, OST, and community detox, as well as having family and carers and service user involvement provision.
The role
The Recovery Practitioner may be expected to be flexible working across various sites across Candi services, and at times in the local community, undertaking a wide range of duty and care-coordination functions, working with service users from the first point of contact through to their planned exit from the service following treatment.
The successful candidate must be committed, hardworking and highly motivated, and have experience of working with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues.
Conditions
· Salary band of £24,627 - £29,000 (pro rata) per annum
· Permanent contract
· 37.5 hours per week

Islington Betterlives is based across 3 sites, although flexible working may be required to support delivery across all Candi services:
