We provide a range of recovery focussed services for people affected by addictions and related mental health issues. We are seeking an experienced and competent practitioner to join with our partner agency Circle in supporting mothers and their families affected by parental involvement in the criminal justice system.
Based in Hamilton and working across South and North Lanarkshire, as a qualified counsellor you will be passionate about recovery and have a good track record in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions. You will be competent in undertaking assessments and delivering intensive support to women with complex needs. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of quality throughout all your work. As a team player, you will be comfortable in working in a successful and innovative joint service that is a proven alternative to custody. You will have a recognised professional counselling qualification at a minimum of SVQ level 4 and be familiar with managing a busy caseload and in monitoring and recording all aspects of your work, and be familiar with the SSSC Codes of Practice for employees and employers.
