Do you have a passion for cycling, including a working knowledge of bike mechanics, and an understanding of community development approaches?

We are recruiting a bike library coordinator for our new bike lending project at Moss Heights in Cardonald. The Bike Library will build on our community work in the Greater Govan area and create active travel and leisure opportunities, as well as affordable transport options for local residents and community members. We will also run activities as part of the Bike Library to build community cohesion and engagement with the library.

Your role will be to establish a bike lending library service in Moss Heights and be primarily responsible for its operation and fleet management/maintenance. You will also work with our Community Development Worker to promote community engagement with the project.

Our ideal candidate will be a very confident cyclist with a working knowledge of bike mechanics, as well as excellent organisational and record keeping skills and experience of organising group activities.

This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant, dedicated team working in a diverse community.
