We are currently seeking a highly motivated, creative and experienced individual to fill the following vacancy - Development Worker (Outreach)

The successful applicant will be required to develop and support existing and new outreach opportunities on a fixed term contract until December 2024. Post extension will be dependent on securing further funding.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a vibrant and compelling Trainer to lead the learning and growth of our team on a full time basis. Committed to creating a lively and inclusive learning atmosphere, the Trainer will design and conduct learning programs for our employees, stakeholders, and external experts. Working in close partnership with our Service Delivery team, they will guarantee that the workforce is equipped with the essential skills and capabilities to adapt to the organisation’s changing requirements.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced person to join our team as Finance Lead, supporting the organisation with day to day financial functions and responsibilities as well as the development of sustainable funding. Working closely with our small team of colleagues and treasurer, you will play a key role in the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a community-owned and led organisation.

We are looking for a family worker to deliver sessions, clubs and activities for our children, and families. The delivery will be varied and will always be driven by the needs of the community.

You will also be responsible for working on trips and holiday programs.

There will also be the remit of devising and implementing new projects and clubs as guided by funding requirements and service user’s needs.

You will work in partnership with local organisations and schools and build up strong positive community links.

The Base is a place based project your will be expected to work alongside and supporting local volunteers.

You will work to enhance the lives of local children by ensuring activities are provided to develop their mental, emotional, physical and social well-being needs.

You will also be committed to ongoing personal development and undertake training or other professional development activities as required.

All other reasonable duties will be required to be undertaken as and when required and agreed with the Project Manager.
