Our Glasgow Secondary Schools Counselling Service is looking for a Practice Manager to oversee the operational delivery of our new, exciting high-quality, school based professional counselling service in Glasgow. The service will, through delivery of evidence based programmes and counselling provide effective intervention, management of cases and assessment of needs, ensure safe care and agreed positive outcomes with secondary school children aged 12-18yrs. Our service will cover all secondary schools in Glasgow City Council (30+).
The Practice Manager will oversee, deliver, and manage the service through a team of professional Counsellors and Support Workers providing professional practice and operational/management supervision utilising Action for Children's and other recognised professional standards and procedures to enable the achievement of positive outcomes for children, young people and their families. Ideally your background will include new service delivery at an operational level alongside experience of staff management.
