MND Scotland is here to support every family affected by motor neurone disease (MND) in Scotland. We provide practical, emotional, and financial support to make sure no one has to go through the devastation of MND alone.
We fight to improve quality of life for everyone living with MND and to ensure their voices are heard. We are building a movement to defeat MND and fund pioneering research which is taking us a step closer to that day.
The Role
MND Scotland is seeking an experienced Chief Executive who will spearhead the charity’s strategy as we embark on an exciting new period of growth and development.
We are looking for someone who will inspire MND Scotland’s dedicated and passionate teams, and lead our charity to reach its full potential, ensuring efforts are focused where they are most needed.
You will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional board, with a newly appointed chair who is inspirational in his outlook, and a talented Senior Management Team who strive for the absolute best for families affected by MND in Scotland.
People with MND are at the heart of everything we do, and as Chief Executive you will have the opportunity to impact real change for those living with MND right now, and bring us closer to our vision of a world without MND.
Key Responsibilities
The Chief Executive will be accountable to the Board and is responsible for all aspects of the strategy, planning, resourcing, operational performance and governance of MND Scotland; working in close conjunction with the Senior Management Team (SMT), and representing the organisation and its work externally.
Closing date 17th May 2021.
