An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Charity Shop Manager to join our retail team. The shop is based in the beautiful town of Dunblane. You will be required to manage a team of volunteers to maximise the income raised through sales of donated goods. You will be required to form good relationships within the local community to acquire good quality stock donations, demonstrate fantastic customer service skills and be an ambassador for Mary’s meals.
The role is varied, busy and gives the opportunity to work with some amazing people. You will be pivotal for the success of the shop and with the help of our volunteers can make a real difference and support our mission. Our volunteers are empowered to take over most of the tasks within the shop, including running the shop in the manager’s absence.
You will have previous retail management experience, preferably in the charity sector and a proven track record in achieving agreed goals and setting high standards, a strong drive to achieve results and accountable for shop operation. You will have excellent communication skills, creativity, people skills to deliver excellent customer service, good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills and experience managing people.
