Role

Reeltime Music are looking for a committed, creative, conscientious and caring individual to lead the delivery of an exciting new project. This is an opportunity for an experienced multi-artform co-ordinator to work with communities in North Lanarkshire to explore how creativity can help address challenges and opportunities resulting from COVID-19.

Reeltime Music, working closely with Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire, have been granted £138,777 through Creative Scotland’s Culture Collective programme. The project will “explore ways in which arts and creativity can help address challenges and opportunities which have arisen or grown through the impact of COVID-19.”

The programme focuses on community-led and participatory projects, which could take various forms. These include (but are not limited to) categories such as artist-in-residence programmes, reactivating the use of community venues, spaces or assets, exhibitions, concerts and performances, festivals and participatory events etc.

Based in North Lanarkshire, the post-holder will be responsible for all aspects of this Culture Collective funded project. This includes building partnerships, contracting and supporting creative practitioners. It also includes managing the project budget, monitoring and evaluation activities, and participating in the national Culture Collective network.

The role is integral to the project and will require a conscientious, committed, caring and creative individual to deliver successful outcomes.
