Please note; In order to ensure the organisation can offer both male and female counsellors to clients, there is a genuine occupational requirement to ensure that we recruit a male Senior Counsellor/Practice Supervisor and therefore this post is only open to men (exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010).
Role:
The Senior Counsellor/Practice Supervisor will provide a counselling, advice and information service for individuals aged 16 and over with problematic alcohol use or affected by other people’s problematic alcohol use. Also manage and coordinate a high-quality Practice Supervision service within GCA, ensuring all volunteers and students receive appropriate practice supervision, support and guidance. The service will be provided from North Claremont Street Office and community settings.
