We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join the Phoenix Futures Scotland team delivering long term support to individuals on completion of a residential rehabilitation stay.

You will lead our continuum of care approach to support in sustaining recovery, ensuring high quality, responsive recovery focused delivery in accordance with legislation and governing bodies.

You will have experience of working with people with multiple needs including addiction, and have a working knowledge of residential rehabilitation and strengthening recovery capital. Having experience of developing and nurturing partnerships to ensure robust pathways and care and support is in place to ensure our clients needs are met – up to 12months post-completion of our residential rehabilitation programme. You will be based between Scottish Residential service where you will support individuals and the Therapeutic Team with preparations for move-on and our Glasgow Housing service which currently provides ongoing aftercare support for individuals on completion of a range of residential rehabilitation stays. In addition to set check-ins and reviews with each individual throughout the 12month post-rehab period you will also offer a range of in-person and/or virtual group interventions, mutual aid support, drop-in sessions and our Phoenix ReUnited aftercare and activities programme.

You will be a positive, innovative, motivational and be able to maintain data completing regularly reporting. Being able to work to your own initiative, as well as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.

You will have experience of working with people with multiple needs including addiction, and have a working knowledge of residential rehabilitation and strengthening recovery capital. Having experience in working with multiple stakeholders and nurturing relationships you will be able to confidently provide guidance to individuals, families and stakeholders in relation to accessing and developing residential rehabilitation pathways into the service.

You will ensure service users feel supported from the point of referral through to their admission to the residential service; offering responsive support to both the individual and their family members. Completing robust assessments and delivering one-to-one and /or group interventions designed to prepare individuals for a rehab stay. You will also meet all service users on their day of admission and

offer support post-admission, ensuring they are welcomed in to the therapeutic community welcome house programme according to their individualised needs. To support collective advocacy for citizens with learning disabilities who are living as patients within three hospital settings. Meeting with and supporting those citizens to meet together, (all activity will be in accordance with appropriate government restrictions regarding COVID19).

Encouraging and supporting discussion of issues from their own lives and the lives of other people who have learning disabilities. The worker will facilitate members’ support of each other and work with groups and individual members to consider and develop suggestions, solutions and demands. The worker will support member representatives to bring ideas and issues to the attention of those who control services as well as those who develop policy and law. All activity tackles the inequalities and discrimination that members face and is designed to bring about improvements in the life experience of people with learning disabilities in Scotland.

Children 1st Fundraising is going through a period of growth as part of our three-year fundraising strategy. To support in the delivery of our strategic aims we are looking to develop and test new products that will continue to engage and inspire different audiences.

The Product Development Manager will lead on the development and operational implementation of new products, and the evaluation of existing fundraising activities to ensure their continued effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with a strong grounding in delivering effective fundraising, an analytical approach with an eye for detail and the ability to manage complex operational challenges. Experience of working with product development, project management and continuous improvement methodologies would be desirable.

This is permanent, full time post of 35 hours per week. The successful candidate can be home based with access to bases in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
