Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children and their families to recover from the far-reaching impact of the pandemic? Are you a confident, dynamic and fast-moving media and marketing professional with particularly strong experience in selling in stories to print and broadcast media? Do you also have experience across brand, digital and internal communications? Can you get to the heart of a story and produce compelling editorial, visual and video content which will inspire our audiences to join with us and the families we work alongside to keep children safe, families strong and ensure we can support them to cope and recover from the impact of this pandemic.

As you join our team at Children 1st you’ll develop and deliver integrated media and marketing plans as we respond to the urgent and emerging needs of children and families by transforming children’s services, revolutionising systems of support and changing local and national government policy.
You’ll make full use of your creative flair, talent for storytelling and powers of connection with children, families, the media, partners and supporters, so that we can reach every child and family in Scotland in need of our support.
This is a permanent, full time post of 35 hours per week.
Closing date: Monday 12 April at noon. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on the 19 and 21 April 2021.
