An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual, with some experience in communications, marketing or media to join the Dr Bell’s team.

You will work alongside our small team to support the implementation of an effective communications and volunteer strategy that raises the profile of the charity in order to increase reach and engagement. You will have primary responsibility for the production of marketing materials, designing publications, creating content for Dr Bell’s social media platforms as well as managing the website in line with our charity’s strategy and values. You will manage and support prospective and current volunteers and student placements as well as promoting, publicising and raising awareness of volunteering opportunities. Working closely with our Fundraising Officer, you will also be supporting the development of a new community fundraising income stream for the charity.

Dr Bell’s Family Centre has been supporting families in Leith since 2006 to thrive and feel safe, supported and healthy. We offer a welcoming, safe place where families with young children can get support, advice and encouragement. If you have a passion for fundraising and supporting families, we look forward to hearing from you.
