We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual with exceptional communication skills and senior level strategic fundraising experience to raise our profile and achieve fundraising goals.

You will play a key role within the Senior team, contributing to overall strategy and objective setting for the organisation.

You will be responsible for the development and successful delivery of The Bike Station’s communication and fundraising strategies and enable us to clearly demonstrate and communicate the impact and value of our activity.

You will develop and deliver our communications and marketing strategy covering external communications and media relations, including a digital marketing plan tol ensure we are taking full advantage of new media.

You will effectively lead and direct fundraising, achieving revenue targets, by establishing, monitoring and developing quality opportunities.

The Business Process Manager will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of Inspiring Scotland’s fund processes. This includes management of different processes for fund development, monitoring, reporting and payment, charity and stakeholder engagement to ensure high quality delivery of fund management across the organisation.

They will work closely with the rest of the core operational team to support the Head of Funds and Head of Development and Partnerships deliver the annual operating plan.

The role is office based for contractual purposes however you may be expected to travel for some meetings.

The post holder will coordinate and develop learning, training, and volunteering opportunities for participants according to individual needs and goals.

You will be competent in building strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders. You will have experience of facilitating the delivery of nationally recognised qualifications, either directly or working in partnership with an external provider. You will be used to working with people in peer-led and informal education settings. We’re looking for an experienced service manager with a strong background in delivering large contracts and services to ensure the continued successful delivery of Connecting Scotland. Ideally you will have experience of quality assurance, process improvement and compliance as well as a strong understanding of approaches to monitoring and evaluation.

Connecting Scotland is a major programme developed as a result of the pandemic to support people who are digitally excluded to get online. Working with hundreds of partners in communities across Scotland, people are provided with a combination of devices, internet connectivity and digital skills support to help them with learning, life and work during the pandemic. Connecting Scotland is funded by the Scottish Government and supported by all Scotland’s Local Authorities, as well as hundreds of organisations from across the public, private and third sectors.

This post will be responsible for managing the Connecting Scotland service and leading the team and suppliers responsible for providing support to both partner organisations and end users.
