An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Employer Engagement Coordinator to join our team delivering the Inverclyde Employer Support Service, funded by Inverclyde Council.
Working closely with the Diversity and Inclusion Manager, the Employer Engagement Coordinator (EEC) will engage and work collaboratively with employers across Inverclyde, to promote and improve workforce diversity.
Through networking and the effective promotion of programme aims and objectives, the EEC will actively market the programme to local employers, establishing a network of engaged organisations across Inverclyde.
The EEC will work collaboratively with employers to help them gain an increased understanding of the support needs of current or potential future employees with disabilities. This will include assessing their current recruitment and support practices and making a series of recommendations.
The EEC will deliver free training, on a range of subjects, to local organisations, with the aim of engaging staff at all levels and supporting Inverclyde employers to increase diversity within the workforce.
