Full time and part time opportunities available
We have exciting opportunities to positively impact on the lives of children, young people and their families by working alongside them, building strong relationships empowering individuals to meet the various challenges they face.
Working as part of the Glasgow Supporting Families Team based in the southside, you will provide a range of emotional and practical supports to both children and parents, impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic and the resulting poverty, isolation and trauma.
Our team demonstrates commitment, creativity and flexibility on a daily basis, and we are looking for like-minded individuals who will be excited by the opportunity to work alongside families responding to their changing needs and helping to strengthen local communities.
If you have experience of working with children and their families and have an SVQ level 3/HNC or equivalent in Child Care/Social Care or related area, accredited counselling qualification, or other relevant qualification at SCQF level 7 then.... we want to hear from you.
We have two full time, fixed term posts of 35 hours per week and one part time post of 17.5 hours per week, funded until 31 March 2022. Hours to be worked flexibility, which means that some evening and weekend work will be necessary in order to offer the appropriate level of support to individual families.
Please mark your preference for full time or part time on your application form.
Closing date: Friday 26 March 2020. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Friday 16 April 2021
