Aberlour Family Support Centre - Langlees works in partnership with the local council and the local community, providing a range of services to promote, positively support and strengthen the capacity of children and families to reach their full potential.
Our service supports families in the Falkirk area who may have a wide range of issues, which could include concerns for child development, social isolation and childhood trauma. The service works directly with the whole family in various settings, such as their own homes and our community-based family support centre which is registered with the Care Inspectorate.
As a community-based Service Administrator you will be the first point of contact for our families and External Stakeholders, dealing with enquiries either via telephone, email or in person. You will be able to work with high levels of accuracy across a range of mediums including Finances and Aberlour Dynamics system. An important part of the role is to provide financial administration for the service, supported by the management team and Senior Finance Officer. Experience in managing petty cash, spreadsheets, online banking, payments and orders as well as attendance at finance review meetings will be a crucial part of the job role. You will provide comprehensive administrative support for the team including reception duties, ordering of supplies, mail, maintaining electronic records and uploading sensitive records relating to young children and their families. Coordination of building and equipment needs, as required, in consultation with the management team will be a requirement.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated individual who is ready to join a passionate and experienced team to work in a busy, fast paced, front facing service. You will ideally have a relevant qualification at SCQF Level 7. You will have administrative experience gained by working within a busy office or social care environment and will be experienced in working with Microsoft Office packages including excel. Excellent communication skills and being committed to working in a relationship-based culture would be advantageous.
