Role

The Edinburgh International Book Festival, a non-profit making organisation, is a distinctive international showcase celebrating the written word, literature and ideas. It brings leading and emerging international, British and Scottish authors and thinkers together to inspire each other and audiences in an extensive programme of public events.

We’re looking for someone with the digital marketing expertise to play a leading role in enhancing our online presence, reaching, engaging and retaining audiences. 2021 opens up a new chapter for the Book Festival and it brings many challenges and opportunities. A new Festival location at the Edinburgh College of Art means we are reimagining an exciting hybrid Festival for the future: building broadcast studios for live-streaming events as well as welcoming audiences in-person (if circumstances permit).

Come and help us deliver our vision. This stimulating and varied role offers plenty of opportunities to hone skills in the field of arts and events marketing, with the autonomy to be creative with shaping campaigns, making decisions and trying out ideas to generate the desired outcomes.
