Equal Futures promotes social inclusion for people with a learning disability and autism in Scotland. Equal Futures was set up in 2002 by a group of parents who have a family member with disabilities. The aim was to help families plan for to ensure that their relative lives a good life.
Since then, Equal Futures has been on a journey to support people and their families through Circles of support and more informally through befriending.
Equal Futures is part of Thera Group; a charitable Group of companies that supports people with a learning disability. Our unique leadership and structure equally includes people with a learning disability. Through this, we can demonstrate that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society. But we can’t do this without you. This post is homebased with the expectation to travel throughout Scotland as required.
