Child Bereavement UK has been commissioned by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde with funding from Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity to provide bereavement support for families bereaved of a baby or child, and training and support for hospital staff.
We are seeking to recruit a part-time Bereavement Support Practitioners to this established service. The post will be for a fixed term until 31 March 2022 and is subject to continued funding from the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Applicants should have a recognised, health, social care, or counselling qualification, experience in working with parents, children and families, excellent communication skills and be passionate about supporting bereaved families and those whose roles bring them into contact with these families.
