Alcohol Focus Scotland (AFS) is Scotland’s national alcohol charity, committed to preventing and reducing harm to individuals, families, communities and Scotland as a whole. We deliver a diverse range of resources, learning opportunities and qualifications, including alcohol licensing qualifications; resources and training for nursery staff, teachers and specialist services working with children affected by parental drinking; and training for employers on alcohol issues in the workplace.

We are looking for a motivated leader to shape innovative and diverse learning and development opportunities that make a real difference. You will lead the development and implementation of a new learning and development strategy, creating innovative solutions and new markets for learning and development and promoting the long-term sustainability of the organisation through income generation.

The post is currently envisaged to last for a fixed term for 18 months, however, there may be an opportunity to extend at AFS’s sole discretion, based on performance and output.
