Role
Letham4All SCIO is growing local charity supporting communities in Perth. It is an exciting time for the organisation, with funding secured to extend and refurbish the Letham Community Hub, we are entering a transitional period of operation in our community and need to prepare for the running of our new community building.
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will work closely with the charity trustees to ensure the effective management and development of the charity. The BDM will have principal responsibility for: (a) developing the charity’s core activities, projects, and partnerships (b) securing funding for the ongoing programme and new developments, and (c) effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the Letham Community Hub.
Accountable to: Trustee Board of Letham4All SCIO
Responsible for staff: All Project Staff, Administration, Cleaning, leisure attendants and volunteers
Annual Leave – 22 Days + 6 public holidays
Fixed Term Contract for 2 Years

The role will have responsibility for the development, coordination and delivery of our mobile pantry service and beneficiary support in Aberdeenshire; coordinate supplies of produce and stock control; manage and promote mobile pantry membership; liaise with partners, local authority and key stakeholders to identify and service local community areas; responsible for volunteer support and supervision; ensure quality standards and food safety regulations are adhered to.
NYDC is a community development group based in North Yell, Shetland. We are a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. We have 11 directors and no employees.
NYDC own a 4.5MW community wind farm which was commissioned in 2017. The group also owns a Business Park which was opened in 2003.The wind farm is now generating profits which will allow the group to employ a Development Manager, and also to make plans for investment in community development. NYDC wish to recruit a suitable person to manage our established assets including Garth Wind Farm and Cullivoe Harbour Business Park. The management role will also include planned and future projects and general development of the North Yell community.
Preference will be given to someone with a background in community development, but consideration will also be given to relevant managerial or renewables experience.

Senior Communication Officer

The Senior Communications Officer will work with the Communications Manager in planning and delivering an effective communication strategy to support Inspiring Scotland's ambitions, raising awareness of our work with a range stakeholders.
This role will also involve supporting two Communications Officers to plan and deliver a programme of engaging content for Inspiring Scotland’s social-impact funds.
The role would be suitable for someone with experience in communications, PR, marketing or journalism.
