Join Bethany's new outreach project in Perth

This is an exciting opportunity to pioneer and oversee new outreach service in Perth which responds to the expressed needs of homeless and vulnerable people through consultation with the local church and third sector groups, incorporating practical interventions, mental health first aid. This new service will run twice a week growing to three times.

You will need a ‘can do’ attitude, be self- motivated and able to work with staff, service users and volunteers. You must have the ability to organise, network effectively and deliver some training to volunteers. Competency in Microsoft Office is essential as is the ability to make day to day decisions in the running of this project.

Most of all we want someone who has a real passion for helping disadvantaged people, who believes everyone deserves a home and a right to contribute to society.

As Bethany is a Christian organisation this post carries an OR in line with Employment Equality Act 2010, applicants should have and be able to evidence an active Christian faith and commitment. Successful applicants for this post will require an enhanced disclosure and membership of the PVG scheme.
