An opportunity has arisen to join VSA as a Trust and Foundation Co-ordinator.
This is an interesting time to be joining the organisation as we are in the planning stages of shaping the provision
of our future services, which includes re-designing, expanding, and opening new services to enable us to support
more vulnerable children and adults living across the North East of Scotland. Models of social care are rapidly
evolving, and we aim to be at the forefront of transforming services to deliver better outcomes for the people
who need and use our services.
VSA operate across the full spectrum of social care and support children, young people, adults and older adults. We
support people from birth to end of life across a range of residential and community-based outreach support
services. Now more than ever, more people need our help and support.
This role is pivotal to our ambitions' of driving forward our position as a leading provider of social care
services. We seek a highly skilled and creative storyteller who can write compelling grant funding bids. The
role is responsible for securing funding from a wide range of sources and will involve taking ownership of
securing funding to support a wide range of projects across the organisation.
You will be building relationships with funders, writing applications, networking and providing first-class
stewardship to a range of stakeholders. You will need a track record of raising significant funds from trusts
and experience of multi-million-pound bids.
You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to assess impact, costs, and added value.
