Internship overview
To help support the Insight team, providing marketing and commercial teams with actionable findings on a range of
insight challenges. These will cover market and category understanding, Brand health, Brand positioning, and
marketing effectiveness as well as deepening the understanding of our consumers and the trends that impact
them.
As well as specifically supporting the Brand team with growth planning preparation, target audience understanding and
competitive learnings. This will be done via a range of our tools and techniques including communications,
social listening, digital, market data and insight projects.
Main duties and tasks
- Work with the Power BI team to develop an Ambassador Action Plan, that covers data collection, dashboard
development and data usage. Ensuring that The Brand Ambassador Community become “super users” of Power
BI.
- Provide project management support to the Insight team throughout major strategic market, category
and consumer understanding projects.
- Support the Insight team on delivering the key evaluation and
marketing effectiveness learnings for the brand, working with our communications, digital and new product teams
to co-ordinate data and information to ensure that we understand the impact of our key initiatives against their
objectives.
- Sharing findings from research with marketing teams and working with them to generate
actionable insights in an engaging, and inspiring way.
- Supporting the Brand team with growth planning
preparation, target audience understanding and competitive learnings across communications, digital and industry
data.
- Gather and share industry news, new releases, communications, events and trends to ensure the
teams are up to date with the latest information.
- Update and manage the teams Sharepoint site to provide
access to the global and local markets are all aware and have access to the latest reports, through pieces,
creative inspirations and learning documents.
- Support team on agency management.
Person Specification:
Essential skills and experience
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present data in an engaging and inspiring way
- Knowledge / experience
of digital and brand marketing, marketing data analyse, segmentation and consumer trends.
- Highly
numerate with strong analytical skills
- Ability to analyse information and identify conclusions and
implications
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to build strong working relationships with people
throughout the business and partner agencies
- Well organised with strong project management
skills
- A Degree / HND / HNC in Marketing related discipline is desirable.
- Have a clear need for
the opportunity, and be able to show how it will help you overcome barriers to achieving your career goals. (this is assessed in the sections motivation for applying,
