Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team getting alongside children, young people and their families in East Renfrewshire who are experiencing emotional distress, to offer early help and build strong relationships.

Working as part of a multi-agency team, alongside HSCP colleagues you will provide children and families with the help and support that they need, when they need it. You will offer families space and time to tell their stories and with them agree how we can best help. You will embrace our relational and restorative approach in order to help families make sense of their difficulties and help life feel better. Working closely with families, colleagues and partners in the local community – relationships will be at the heart of everything you do

If you have experience of working with children and their families and have a professional qualification in a relevant area such as Social Work, Teaching or equivalent in Child Care/Social Care or related area, accredited counselling qualification, or other relevant qualification at SCQF level 9 or higher then we want to hear from you.

This is a fixed term, full time post of 35 hours per week, funded initially for one year. Hours to be worked flexibly to suit the needs of the service and the families. Regular evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
