Role

With over 30 years’ experience, British Liver Trust is the leading liver charity for adults in the UK. The Trust works to transform liver health through increased awareness, prevention, improved care and support.

The British Liver Trust is looking to recruit a Development Officer to join our field team in Scotland to deliver our awareness and patient support work across the Highlands and Grampian region, starting in January 2021.

The main purpose of this position is to:

  • Facilitate the creation, development and delivery of British Liver Trust support groups for patients within the Highlands and Grampian region
  • Arrange and undertake awareness raising activity and events across the Highlands and Grampian region to promote increased knowledge of liver health and the steps people can take to reduce their risk of developing liver disease

You will be enthused and motivated by the prospect of changing lives and health outcomes, supporting and empowering patients and making the maximum impact with the resource and funding available to us.

The role will be home-based in Scotland, but with a requirement for travel to facilitate events and activities in the Highlands and Grampian region, as well as occasional travel throughout Scotland.
