The role of the Stroke Educator is to plan and deliver appropriate and evidence based training in stroke for health and social care staff, internal staff and service users. The service is provided in partnership with NHS Fife and the stroke education team and aims to ensure all individuals caring for people affected by stroke have the suitable knowledge, skills and confidence to fulfil their role and enhance the quality of services.
We are seeking an individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills, is motivated and has a good knowledge base of current stroke care. Candidates must have a first level nursing/ AHP qualification and evidence of continued professional development. The successful candidate will work as part of a CHSS education team and will receive full induction and support upon commencement of this role. This role is an excellent development opportunity for a current staff nurse working within a stroke specific area.
