William Simpsons is a vibrant, forward thinking charity with a community of staff whose main focus is providing the best possible outcomes for up to 70 residents.
The charity is looking to recruit two part time activity coordinators to work with our care teams enabling every resident to live their best life.
We envisage the candidates will be sociable, fun, confident and organised people who are seeking a rewarding role in a caring environment.
It is not necessary to have previous care experience, it is more important that you are the outgoing, vibrant, caring personality that residents will want to engage with. A current, clean, driving license would be beneficial.
Every member of our team is important and valued. Together our staff teams make William Simpsons what it is and to help everyone reach their potential we provide extensive training opportunities available to all. We operate an open-door policy in the home, you will be encouraged to share ideas with all staff and can seek out the views of anyone at any time, we are here to support our residents and each other.
You should be aware that William Simpsons, like all care homes in Scotland, is currently operating under strict infection control procedures set out by the Scottish Government and Public Health. Social distancing, frequent handwashing and wearing masks are a requirement of working in any care home.
