Role

Midlothian’s Third Sector Interface (TSI) is a partnership made up of two separate organisations: Midlothian Voluntary Action and Volunteer Midlothian. The TSI also hosts the Social Enterprise Alliance Midlothian. Our key role is to provide support, training, guidance and representation for the third sector, social enterprise, volunteer-involving organisations and volunteers in Midlothian. We are one of 32 TSIs across Scotland, forming an essential part of the infrastructure of Scottish civic and community life.

Overview:

This is a key role which will be located within Midlothian Voluntary Action but will work across the TSI. Midlothian TSI is currently undergoing a rebranding exercise and will soon launch a new integrated website.

We require a creative and skilful Communications Officer to lead the implementation of our communications strategy, to help our voice reach more widely into communities, and to raise our profile using the new website, social media and other communications channels. You will be a collaborative but independent and self-motivated communicator with a demonstrable track record of producing factual and engaging communications across a range of media.
