We are looking for a Training and Development Manager to join our team. Equate Scotland is recognised as the national expert organisation on women’s under-representation in science, engineering, technology and the built environment. We are hosted by and partner with Edinburgh Napier University and funded by the Scottish Government.
We are based in Edinburgh at Edinburgh Napier University Craiglockhart campus. We work with industry, academia, the Scottish Government and public bodies to make tangible and sustainable change, enabling more women to study and work in these key sectors. The role is central to our employer and academic stakeholder engagement to support them to implement gender equality initiatives and culture change methods. This role is responsible for the management of our career services for women, has lead responsibility to meet funding objectives within budget alongside meeting income generation targets.
This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record on organisational/strategic development and who has significant experience in training design and delivery. Ideally the candidate will also have line management experience.
