Role

Scottish Refugee Council is looking for an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to work in our Services Department to assist with the delivery of our new integration project, New Scots Integration: a pathway to social and economic inclusion.

This programme is funded through Asylum Migration Integration Fund AMIF (EU Funds) and is partnership led by Scottish Refugee Council with Bridges Programme, Workers Educational Association and Queen Margaret University.

The primary objectives of this post are to support Senior Managers with the production of detailed quantitative quarterly reports on the interventions of this new integration project and to assist the team in developing and implementing evaluation framework to evidence our wider impact in supporting refugees to rebuild their lives in Scotland. This will contribute to build a robust set of evidence to inform the development of improved integration services.

We are looking for a person with a demonstrable ability to use a wide range of evaluation methods, manage large quantitative and qualitative datasets and have strong analytical skills to apply findings to a professional context. The post holder will also have excellent communication, team working and partnership working skills combined with an ability to work in a high pressure situation in a rapidly changing environment and be able to deliver to fixed deadlines. Due to current government guidelines, all staff of Scottish Refugee Council are working from home and are provided with necessary IT equipment. This post is based in Glasgow and staff at Scottish Refugee Council can apply for flexible working as per our policy.
