Food Train Connects currently offers 2 services (Scotland wide); a one to one food Shopping Service and Phone Friends, a service giving our members regular, friendly phone calls, achieved through connecting local volunteers with older people in their nearby community. Aiming to tackle social isolation, malnutrition and connect communities, this innovative project offers opportunities for people interested in driving real social change.
We are looking for a suitably skilled, socially aware and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in food and nutrition, older people and communities. If you’ve got the right skills, you’re comfortable working from home and you’d like to be part of this exciting project, then we’d love to hear from you.
