The Linda Tremble Foundation is the leading community eating disorder charity in Scotland and is looking for a Development Manager to help the Board of Trustees to develop and expand the charity. The charity supports people with eating disorders, their carers and families in a growing number of geographical areas across Scotland, with face-to-face groups prior to Coronavirus, and currently by Zoom.
We recruit, train and support volunteers who facilitate support groups for people with eating disorders and carers and has also introduced a 1 to 1 befriending service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and well organised self-starter with drive and a passion for helping others. Ongoing training, development and support will be provided.
The ability to attract and lead a team of volunteers is essential and a good understanding of eating disorders and/or mental health conditions is desirable.
We welcome applications from candidates with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
